A former Reno man who fled to the Caribbean in 1988 after he was convicted of kidnapping and raping a 15-year-old girl is finally headed to a Nevada prison.

Reno police issue 63 citations Thursday during traffic enforcement
A total of 63 citations were issued and 12 warnings given to motorists in a three-hour traffic enforcement period Thursday at the intersections of Moana and Kietzke lanes and South Virginia St. and South McCarran Blvd. in Reno, police officials said.

NV woman accused of driving drunk with kid in car
RENO, Nev. (AP) -- A Reno woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving drunk with her 9-year-old child in the car. Police say 44-year-old Adriana Botello was booked Wednesday into the Washoe County Jail on charges of driving under the influence, child endangerment and failure to use due care.
